I’ve just been to the hair dresser, for my first appointment with my new hair!
As you may or may not know, when you get the procedure it does leave a very slight scar at the back of your head. It’s important to explain this to the hair dresser so they don’t give you a blade 1 – it’s best to go with a blade 2 or 3.
Anyway, my hair is now cut pretty short, much shorter than the photo I just uploaded. I’m happy with it as the cut has blended in everything nicely. I’ll see if I can get a photo for you to have a look at.
I’m having my 6 month review in about 3 weeks time. I’m also giving a final interview for the DVD about the whole experience.
I have heard that there has been quite a bit of interest in the DVD, which is good. If it helps someone who is considering getting it done, fantastic.
A couple of people have asked me do I mind other people knowing about my hair restoration surgery and for me, being open about it for me has been very positive. However, I totally understand that people want to keep it confidential. Most people are curious about the actual procedure, if was painful, how long did it take etc? When I tell them that I watched 3 DVDs and was completely relaxed, they find it amusing.
People are accepting. In other words, it’s just not a big deal to them, they are mostly intrigued!
