Graham Molly, a 26 year-old hairdresser with Brown Sugar, recently had an FUE hair transplant at HRBR. In order to finance the procedure, he took out a bank loan. So, why did Graham choose an FUE hair transplant over an FUT hair transplant?
Graham has been a hairdresser for the past 7 years and says that he was always aware of hair loss. His dad had lost his hair at an early age and his brother had started to lose his hair. Graham started to notice that his own hair was starting to recede from the age of 18.
working in the salon, you work eight hours a day, five days a week, and you’re constantly in front of a mirror. So, I could see every day as I was blow-drying it or styling it, this is going back further and further.
Deciding on the FUE procedure

Because I’m 26 and I’m a hairdresser, I want to cut my hair differently. I want to shave it off one day, I want to style it one day, I want to do a lot of things. So, it left me with a lot more freedom as to what I could do for the rest of my life
Financing the hair transplant
Graham shared with us that he financed his FUE procedure by getting a bank loan. Here is what he said about that experience. “At the time, I didn’t have the cashflow to go get it done. I didn’t have money put away to get it. So, I went to my bank and applied for a loan. It was pretty straightforward. They didn’t really ask what it was for. How does Graham feel after the procedure?
“Since having it done, I definitely feel I can talk about it more to people, to family, to friends, to clients, to colleagues, because you’ve been through it and you realise how easy it is. It’s literally a couple of days out of your life, and then your whole life changes because it’s over and you just move on and let the hair grow again.
I suppose the best response I’m getting from people is no response. Not many people have noticed, but the people who are close to me, family and friends, have noticed a big change with my hair, with the way I’m able to manage it. They also notice a big change within my confidence, which has been absolutely fantastic.”
